Then for every digit that is repeating add a 9 to the denominator and for every non repeating integer add a 0.. In this case the whole number is .253 where 5 and 3 are repeating and 2 isn't. so 253-2 is 251 and there are 2 repeating and 1 not so it is 251/990.
