Chapter 12 - Section 12.3 - Geometric Sequences - 12.3 Exercises - Page 865: 77

Answer

7/9

Work Step by Step

Here is a number sense trick. To find the fraction version of a repeating decimal first take the whole number before repeats, and subtract the nonrepeating part. Then for every digit that is repeating multiply the denominator by 9 and for every non repeating integer multiply by 10.(start with a denominator of 1). So for .7 repeating it would be 7-0 over 9 since 7 is the only repeating digit.
