Answer

Two complex solutions that are not real and conjugates of each other.

Work Step by Step

Subtract $2x$ from both sides. $x^2+6-2x=2x-2x$ Simplify. $x^2-2x+6=0$ The equation above has $a=1,b=-2$ and $c=6$. The discriminant is $b^2-4ac$ $=(-2)^2-4(1)(6)$ $=4-24$ $=-20$ Since $-20<0$, then the equation has two complex solutions that are not real and conjugates of each other.
