Chapter 4 - Integration - Review Exercises - Page 312: 12

Answer

f(x)=-2cos(x)+4x-3

Work Step by Step

First, I integrated the original function to get from the second derivative to the first derivate. Using the initial condition provided, I found the value of the constant C and came to the full f'(x) function. Using the same thinking, i did the same exact process to get to f(x) from f'(x) and using the initial condition for f(x), I arrived to the solution for the differential equation.
