To factor $x^{3}$ + 1 we use formula $a^{3}$ + $b^{3}$ = (a + b)($a^{2}$ - a b + $b^{2}$) $x^{3}$ + 1 = (x +1) ( $x^{2}$ - 1.x + $1^{2}$) = (x +1) ( $x^{2}$ - x + 1)
