b) We have to use the Pythagorean Theorem. Use the graph to find that the sides of our triangle are 7 and 12. Then solve for c, which is the distance from P to Q. Refer to the image c) The midpoint can be found using the dimensions from problem b. Divide each side, 7 and 12, by 2 ,since we are finding the midpoint, to get the sides, 3.5 and 6. Starting from point P, shift 3.5 units along the x-axis and 6 units up the y-axis to find the midpoint d) Since -12/7, from the sides of our triangle, cannot be simplified, we know that this is the slope. We know the x-intercept is (2,0) so the we can add that into our equation and then simplify. e) Refer to image
