We are given the function: $h(x)=\sqrt{-x}-2$ We start graphing with the basic function $a(x)=\sqrt x$. We reflect $a(x)$ about the $y$-axis to get $b(x)=\sqrt{-x}$. Then we vertically shift $b(x)$ 2 units downward to get $h(x)=\sqrt{-x}-2$. We use 3 points: $(-4,0),(-1,-1),(0,-2)$.
