Answer

(a). $t^2-8$ (b). Degree is $2$ and leading coefficient is $1$ (c). Binomial

Work Step by Step

(a). The standard form of a polynomial is expressed in the ordered of decreasing the power of variable i.e $ax^2+bx+c$. So, the standard form of given polynomial is $t^2-8$ where coefficient of $t$ is $0$. (b). Degree refers to the highest power in the polynomial, and leading coefficient is the coefficient of term with highest power. Therefore, degree is $2$ as $t^2$ is the highest powered term, and its coefficient is $1$. So, leading coefficient is $1$. (c). If a polynomial is made up of two terms, then it is called as binomial. In $t^2-8$, there are two terms $t^2$ and $-8$.
