    Compare and contrast your school and Danny's.

    Danny's school is a small, single-floor, red-brick building. There is a plaque stating that the school was erected in 1902 to celebrate the coronation of King Edward VII. The school has about 60 students aged five to eleven. There are four classrooms and four teachers. At Danny's school, corporal punishment is still accepted as reasonable. When Danny whispers an answer to his friend and then talks back to his teacher, both he and Sidney are called to the front of the room and hit over the hand with a cane.
