Our function is $f(x)=\frac{1}{4}|x|$ We can write the function in the form $f(x)=a|x−h|+k$ We can conclude that: $a=\frac{1}{4}$ $h=0$ $k=0$ $Vertex=(h,k)=(0,0)$ To find the x-intercepts we substitute y for 0. $0=\frac{1}{4}|x|$ Then you solve the equation. Multiply 4 on both sides $0=|x|$ Two possibilities: possibility 1: $x=0$ possibility 2: $x=0$ Therefore the 2 x-intercepts are $(0,0)$ and $(0,0)$ To graph the function use the slope which is $\frac{1}{4}$, and with the slope and the vertex, you can graph the function.
