The Autobiography of Malcolm X is one of several autobiographical and biographical texts written by and about Black Power and Civil Rights figures. Angela Davis, Elaine Brown, Eldridge Cleaver, and Assata Shakur's autobiographies would be great complementary texts to read alongside The Autobiography of Malcolm X.
