Answer

c) diagram

Work Step by Step

Pb(NO₃)₂ (aq) + 2NaCl (aq) → PbCl₂ (s) + 2NaNO₃ (aq) According to the stoichiometry of the reaction (1:2), we notice that 0.05 M of lead nitrate react with the 0.1 M of sodium chloride and remain 0.05 M of the completely dissociated Pb(NO₃)₂ unreacted. So the beaker contains, Pb²⁺ (aq), Na⁺ (aq), NO₃⁻ (aq), and PbCl₂ (s). This is best described in diagram (c) .
