Answer

Hemoglobin is a metal containing protein-containing foods-- meat, fish, cheese , soy beans, lentils, avocado, milk

Work Step by Step

Synthesis of the globin chains require amino acids derived from protein containing foods such as meat, fish, beans, soy beans, lentils, avocados, and shrimp. Hemoglobin synthesis also requires iron-- preferably heme iron. Iron from plant sources and dairy products is mainly non-heme iron. Heme iron comes mainly from animal meats--pork , beef , veal, fish, and shellfish.
