1) In order to evatute the probability of a certain number of sucesses, we must determine how namy times the experiment will be repeated. For example, you want to know the probability of obtaining five 1 when you cast a die a certain number of times. The probability is different if you cast a dice 10 times than if you cast a dice 20 times or 30 times. 2) The probability of a success in each trial does not depend of the results of the other trials. In the case above, the probability of success in the second trial does not depend of the result of the first trial, and so on. 3) $P(success~and~failure)=0$ 4) $P(success~first~trial)=P(success~second~trial)=P(success~third~trial)=...$
