$f\left( x \right)\to -\infty$ as $\underline{x\to -{{2}^{+}}}$ or as $\underline{x\to {{2}^{-}}}$.
We see from the graph that the graph is going to $-\infty$ as x approaches to $2$. After $x=2$ the function is undefined. Similarly, for the negative values of x, the graph is going to $-\infty$ as it approaches to $-2$. Before $x=-2$, the function is undefined. Thus, $f\left( x \right)\to -\infty$ as $x\to -{{2}^{+}}$ or as $x\to {{2}^{-}}$.
