Students will confront their fears and misconceptions about poetry.

Structure:
To begin this activity, instruct students to create a mind web or mind map through an app like MindMup (https://www.mindmup.com/) in response to the following question: When you think about poetry, what are the first thoughts and feelings to come to mind?
