Samantha “Sam” Kingston attended a Cupid’s day party with her three friends - Lindsay, Ally, and Elody - where they had bullied a girl named Juliet Sykes. When the four girls are driving home, Juliet jumps in front of their car, committing suicide and killing all the girls in the car. After Sam’s painful death, she feels like she is falling and a scene of her bullying a girl flashes before her eyes before she wakes up in her own bed again, realizing that it is the same day as the day she was killed, February 12, and that she is doomed to relive it.
She relives the day as normal, scared that if she tells anyone of what has happened they will think she is crazy. She starts reflecting more on her actions and what is important as she goes through the motions of the day, repeating the day before, also resulting in her death.
One day, as she is repeating the day of her death, she realized why Lindsay hates Juliet; Lindsay and Juliet were best friends until one day Lindsay wet her bed at camp in fifth grade, but instead of taking the blame, Lindsay accused Juliet, which led her to becoming a bully.
After several repeats of the day, Sam tries preventing the death of Juliet. Instead of bullying her, she takes her to the side and tries to talk to her about everything she has learnt. When Juliet tries jumping in front of the car, Sam pushes her aside at the last moment, which kills her once and for all, whilst her good deeds flash before her eyes.
