We can write a general expression for the magnitude of the electric field: $E = \frac{\Delta V}{\Delta x}$ From this expression, we can see that the slope of the electric potential versus position graph is the strength of the electric field. A graph with a steeper slope has a higher magnitude of electric field. We can see that section B has the steepest slope and section C has the a slope that is the least steep. We can rank the three sections according to the magnitude of the electric field: $B \gt A \gt C$
