a) The frequency is inversely related to the amplitude, so if the amplitude of the second system is half as much, its frequency will be twice as large as the frequency of the first system. b) Acceleration is equal to the amplitude times the square of the frequency. The first system has double the amplitude but half the frequency, so: $=(\frac{1}{2})^2\times 2=\frac{1}{2}$ Thus, the first system will have half the acceleration of the second system.
