Because of conservation of energy, the kinetic energy at the bottom of each slide is equal, and therefore, the speed at the bottom of each slide is equal. Since slide B has a steeper slope, the acceleration is greater on slide B than on slide A. Therefore, the time required to reach the bottom of slide B is less than the time required to reach the bottom of slide A. Zorba is correct when he says that you reach the same speed with either slide. Boris is correct when he says that you reach the bottom level in less time on slide B.
