Chapter 7, Cell Structure and Function - 7.1 - Life is Cellular - 7.1 Assessment - Page 194: 3a

Answer

Features that all cells have include: 1. DNA 2. Plasma membrane / cell membrane 3. Ribosome 4. Cytoplasm

Work Step by Step

DNA is the molecule that carries biological information. The cell membrane or plasma membrane is a thin, flexible barrier that surrounds all cells and regulates what enters and leaves the cell. Ribosomes are important cell organelles that build protein from amino acids and are made within the nucleus of the cell. The cytoplasm is a gel like material plus other organelles outside the nucleus of the cell and within the cell membrane.
