In Minitab, select Calc -> Column Statistics
In "Statistic" select "Standard deviation".
In "Imput variable" enter C1.
Click OK.
The result for the standard deviation will be given.

$σ_X=\sqrt {np(1-p)}=\sqrt {30\times0.98(1-0.98)}=\sqrt {30\times0.98\times0.02}=0.767$
In my simulation: $σ_X=0.903$
The results are close, but it could be better if more simulations were performed.
