To reflect a figure across a line, draw dashed lines through each point that is not on the original line. These dashed lines should be perpendicular to the line across which the figure in being reflected. Then, make the new point on the dashed line the same distance away from the center line as the original point. Note, any points that are already on the center line across which the figure is being reflected do not need to be changed.
