Thomas' Calculus 13th Edition

This function $y=x+\frac{1}{10}sin(30x)$ is the sum of two functions $y=x$ and $y=\frac{1}{10}sin(30x)$ which has an amplitude of $|a|=\frac{1}{10}$ and a period of $p=\frac{\pi}{15}$. Thus, the graph window needs to be adjusted to show at least a few periods of the oscillations as shown in the figure.
