RECALL: The slope $m$ is equal to $\dfrac{\text{rise}}{\text{run}}$, and can be interpreted as the average increase in $y$ for every one unit increase in $x$. A slope of $2$ means that for every increase of 1 unit in $x$, the value of $y$ increases by $2$ units. Thus, to find other points on the same line as the point $(-2, 3)$, just add $1$ to the value of $x$ and $2$ to the value of $y$ to obtain: $(-2+1, 3+2) = (-1, 5)$ $(-1+1, 5+2) = (0, 7)$ $(0+1,7+2) = (1, 9)$ Plot the points and connect them using a line.
