The sexual atmosphere in the workplace is described by sexual imagery. The reader sees how Bernie and Dannie have a hot conversation on sex by explaining their experiences in bed with different women. The Human Resource Manager is not happy with Danny and Bernie's sexual banter, and he summons them and issues a strict warning against the vice. According to the Human Resource Manager, sexual banter makes women uncomfortable working in the same office. Consequently, the reader can see how toxic the office is when sexual harassment occurs.
Sight imagery at the apartment
The description of Deborah and Joan's apartment where they are having a glass of wine depicts sight imagery. After having a glass of wine, the two women start having a conversation about their experiences with men. Through this conversation, the audience comprehends what a woman wants during intercourse. The conversation is intense, and the two ladies are focused on what they hate about men who never satisfy them in bed.
Relationship imagery
The relationship imagery is evident towards the end of the play. Danny and Deborah are intimate, and they move to live together. However, the relationship is not serious because the two are living together to satisfy their sexual desires. The disagreements between the two leads to a breakup.
