Hugh Jackman
Logan marks the last time that Hugh Jackman played the role of Logan/Wolverine, having played the role over the course of eight films and sixteen years since 2000's X-Men. To prepare for his last hurrah as Logan, Jackman trained intensely, eating six meals per day and training for over three hours per day with renowned trainer Mike Ryan.
"That's always been really his dilemma, coming to terms with who he is," Jackman said of Logan. He wanted Logan to be a great swan song for a character which Jackman had played for a long time - a character which he knew and loved.
Patrick Stewart
Like Jackman, Logan marks the last time that Patrick Stewart played one of his most celebrated roles, a role which he had played since 2000's X-Men. "... this is probably the end of this franchise for me. But the thing about science fiction and fantasy is that you can never, ever say it's the end, it's over," Stewart said.
To that end, Stewart played the role as if it were his last time - for himself and for his incredibly ill and dying character.
Boyd Holbrook
Born in the year 1981, the American model and actor has appeared in different films playing major roles including, Run all Night, A Walk Among the Tombstone, Logan, Narcos, and In the Shadows. Holbrook made his debut in acting after being discovered while working part-time as a carpenter for Jenny Wiley Theater in Kentucky.
Holbrook is also a photographer and sculptor. He exhibited his first show in New York in the year 2008. Holbrook won the award for Breakthrough Performer at the Hampton International Film Festival and was later nominated for Best Actor in Milano International Film Festival Awards.
Dafne Keen
Born in Madrid in the year 2005, the fifteen-year-old Dafne Keen is a rising star in Hollywood. With the help of her British father and Spanish mother, who are also actors, Keen is making great progress in her acting career.
Keen made her debut playing the role of Ana “Ani” Cruz Oliver in the television series The Refugees in the year 2014. Keen has also starred in the film Logan and the television series His Dark Materials.
