    Why is this act called "The Exorcism"? What is being exorcised?

    One possible interpretation is that the story of the son, a fabrication, has somehow poisoned George and Martha's marriage, haunted it, and in this act it is now being purged. This might also be true of any of the lies within the couples, such as Honey's methods of birth control, or between the couples, such as the truth about George's parents and his own losses. Do students think that either couple has truly found release, or freedom from being haunted, by the end of the act?
