    Students will discuss key causes and lasting effects of the Great Migration.

    Students will analyze Wilkerson's methodology and approach to historiography and narrative nonfiction.

  3. 3

    Students will identify subtopics—such as major figures, places, and events—for deeper study.

  4. 4

    Students will research and discuss how the Great Migration affected their own town, city, family, etc.

  5. 5

    Students will analyze various historical opinions on the Migration and discuss Wilkerson's response to them.
