Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of The Tempest, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, and text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

In the Day 2 activity "Music in Dramatic Performance," students may wish to use the internet to research ways in which the songs from The Tempest have been put to music. There is also the possibility of using music to perform and record music in this activity. Students who are less comfortable composing music can use technology to find songs and sounds which reflect how they think the songs in The Tempest might sound.
