The Stone Gods Irony

The Stone Gods Irony

Wasteland

Billy is observing the Natives of the island competing with followers of the Bird Man for the place of authority; to which Spikkers decided to join as well. Billy concludes that in this wasteland, where every tree has been cut to make the Stone Gods which are now destroyed as well, people are not much different from anywhere else. They gamble, they fight, and they compete for anything as long as they realize that it's desired by the other person.

Civilization at its peak

Billie, working for the Enhancement service, has to go and talk with the wife of a pedophile. Not getting very far with her, she decides to track down her pedophile husband and sees him with a bunch of children. The children are of course bought, because they wouldn't allow the kids born there to be a part of this terror, because their laws and civilized ways wouldn't allow it.

Charity to show care

Billie and Pink are discussing charity and another part of a civilization at its peak is shown. The charity is used to create a strip of Wild, because the entire wilderness is of course gone, and put apes in it. Pink says that everyone likes to give to charity because it shows care; it is not important where the money goes. Aside from this, the irony of the simplistic, descriptive name of this, and many other characters as well, is self-explanatory and therefore in need for further commentary.

Irony of MORE

The company MORE comes out to shine after the third world war and it is there to stop the greed, materialism, need for selfish possessions and provide a peaceful free and advancing life. The company is in control of everything, as there is no existing government. At the end, it proves to be just a disguise for an even more restricting and manipulative controlling power-show in the way that they manipulate the public when the witch-hunt for Billie and the excuse to attack Wreck City is brought forth. Notice the irony of the company's name as well.
