El Cid

El Cid is a historic Spanish, epic hero; he is known for his bravery and honor, which he shows on the battlefield. He is married to Dona Ximena, the cousin of the King Alfonso the Fifth. El Cid is a true citizen of his native country; the king of Vivar banishes him for no appropriate reason, but El Cid never disappoints. He came back to his land with dignity and respect.

Donna Ximena

Donna Ximena is the wife of El Cid. They have two daughters.

King Alfonso the Fifth

King Alfonso the Fifth is the great emperor of Aragon and Naples. El Cid is his brother in law.
