Student writing can be posted on a blog or discussion forum for peer feedback and discussion. A document camera can be used to show student writing as models or discussion prompts: seeing their peers' work is often motivating for students. The research projects that students do will involve sophisticated use of internet databases for sources, and the resulting presentations can involve multimedia explanations and illustrations. There is also an opportunity to use and discuss recording equipment for the oral history project and the possible dramatic telling of the Miller's Tale.
