Throughout the study of Virgil's The Aeneid, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, text-to-speech software for reading assignments, and any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

In this lesson plan, students will frequently have opportunities to explore the world of The Aeneid using diverse technologies, including online learning, creative activities, and research projects. In the Day 1 activity "Troy, Carthage, and Other Ancient Lands," students will be able to use Google Maps and Google Earth to get acquainted with the vast distances Aeneas and the Trojans traverse.
