As you enter the water, your body presses on it and the pressure changes. This pressure change is transmitted to the crocodiles, according to Pascal’s principle. Even if you slip in infinitesimally slowly without disturbing the water, your body raises the water level, which increases the depth of the pool and the pressure at the bottom.
