If the aquarium is half-full, the scale reading increases by the weight of the fish (if it were measured in air). This is similar to question 1 in the checkpoint on page 254. If the aquarium is full to the very top, the reading does not change. The fish displaces a weight of water equal to its own weight. This is similar to question 2 in the checkpoint on page 254.
