Thus, magnitude $|v|=\frac{v_x}{\cos \theta}=\frac{4.8}{\cos37^{\circ}}=6\,\mathrm{m/s}$ (b) The y-component is given by - $v_y=|v|\sin\theta=6\sin37^{\circ}=3.6\,\mathrm{m/s}$
