Answer

Solid is the state of the matter having definite shape and size. It is the most dense form of matter. The atoms or molecules are very closed packed and have only negligible motion i.e. vibration motion. It cannot flow. Liquid is the state of the matter having no definite shape, size and volume. It is denser than gas but less denser than solids. It flows from one place to other. Gas has no definite shape, size and volume. It quickly occupies any volume available. Its molecules show all types of movements.
