Both B-lymphocytes and T-lymphocytes develop in the bone marrow. B-lymphocytes, however, mature in situ --the bone marrow-- while T-lymphocytes travel to the thymus where they mature. From there T-lymphocytes travel to lymph nodes and other lymphoid structures/tissues.
