The human body cannot make ATP through the alcoholic fermentation pathway. It can use ATP in muscles, make ATP through glycolysis by directly breaking down glucose, and use pyruvic acid to make ATP. Only yeast and some other microorganisms are able to produce ATP through alcoholic fermentation.
