The pelvic cavity can be described as inferior to the abdominal cavity in position. Inferior means below or "closer to the feet". The pelvic cavity is where your bladder and reproductive organs are while the abdominal cavity is where the digestive organs, spleen, and kidneys are located. The pelvic cavity is below the abdominal cavity and thus we say the pelvic cavity is inferior to the abdominal cavity.
