The Standard deviation of the mean of the sample decreases when the size of sample increases. The Standard deviation of the median of the sample decreases when the size of sample increases.

It can be seen from the results of problem 14 that standard deviation of the sample mean decreases when sample size increases. For the sample size 10, the standard deviation is 15.31. For the sample size 20, the standard deviation is 9.93.For the sample size 40, the standard deviation is 7.37.For the sample size 80, the standard deviation is 3.308. So, it is concluded that increment in size leads to decrement in the standard deviation of the sample mean. It can be seen from the results of problem 14 that standard deviation of sample median decreases when sample size increases. For the sample size 10, the standard deviation is 14.75. For the sample size 20, the standard deviation is 10.63.For the sample size 40, the standard deviation is 7.48.For the sample size 80, the standard deviation is 3.39. So, it is concluded that increment in size leads to decrement in standard deviation of sample median.
