1. Start with the parent function $f(x)=\sin x$
(Graph:red dashed , amplitude 1, period $ 2\pi$)
If plotting by hand, use Table 2 on page 420 to plot 13 points on $[0,2\pi]$,
2. The graph of $2\sin x=2f(x)$ is obtained from f(x) by
vertically stretching it by factor $2$.
The new amplitude is $2$. Period remains same.
