$y=|x|$ is an absolute value function, that is symmetrical to the $y$-axis ($x=0$). $y=|x-2|$ is a translation of $y=|x|$ horizontally $2$ units to the right. So, axis of symmetry will move to $2$ units to the right as well and becomes $x=2$.
