Chapter 5 - Linear Functions - 5-5 Standard Form - Lesson Check - Page 323: 7

Answer

Any form could be used to write an equation of the line. However, it might be easiest to use point-slope.

Work Step by Step

Two obvious points on the line are (4,0) and (0,2). The slope of the line that goes through the two points is -1/2. Since we have a slope and a point, we can use point-slope with few issues.
