To find the mean, we add up all of the values and divide by the total number of values. Mean: $\frac{14+14+15+15+15+15+16+16}{8} = 15$ To find the median, we order up all of the values from least to greatest and find the middle number. If there are an even total number of terms, then we take the average of the two terms that are closest to the middle. Median: $14, 14, 15, 15, 15, 15, 16, 16 \rightarrow \frac{15+15}{2} = 15$ To find the mode, we determine the number that shows up the most. Mode: $15$ Because of how significant the mode is (the mode showed up in half of the terms), it is the best measure of central tendency to describe the data.
