Arnold Schwarzenegger
Perhaps most prominent for his role in the Terminator series, Schwarzenegger has gone onto have a successful career in the film industry, alongside in bodybuilding and politics. He started off his career as a bodybuilder, which led to his being cast in Conan the Barbarian in 1982, as his breakthrough role. Since then, he has gone onto play more action rules, such as in Kindergarten Cop (1990) and True Lies (1994) both of which he plays an undercover cop. He took a break from acting to pursue a career in politics, but has recently made his return to Hollywood by starring in the sequel Terminator Genisys (2015).
Edward Furlong
Furlong is most prominent for his role as John Connor in the Terminator series, for which he won numerous awards, including the MTV Movie Awards for his breakthrough role. He had some success after this, by starring in Before and After(1996) alongside Meryl Streep. His acting career dwindled down in the 2000s but he is most recently reprising his role in the upcoming Terminator: Dark Fate (2019).
Linda Hamilton
Linda Hamilton has had an extensive movie and television career from the 1980’s through to the 2000s. Her role as Sarah Connor remains her most famed character and has spawned various sequels and prequels. She was also known for playing the role of Catherine Chandler in the television series Beauty and the Beast (1987-1990), which resulted in award nominations, including two Golden Globes Awards. She is set to star in the upcoming Terminator: Dark Fate(2019).
