What was the idea behind Sapna? What was it meant to accomplish?
The idea was to create a fake common enemy—Sapna—that would get people who wouldn't normally help Khader to help him smuggle illegal goods in and out of Bombay. Police and mobsters alike, freaked out by Sapna, would want Khader to take Sapna out, so they'd help him smuggle in weapons, explosives, etc. in order to give him the tools he needed to do that. Karla's original concept was just to scare people with graffiti and bomb threats, but Ghani took it further and committed actual murders under Sapna's name.
