    Explore the relationship between the play's protagonists

    Common Core Standards:

    CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.9-10.3

    Structure:

    Begin the activity with a discussion: Do the Macbeths have a good marriage? What does that question mean--does it mean that they love each other, or that they do good things while they are married? Do they support and encourage each other? How, or how not? Should they support and encourage each other, or not?
