The Martian army
The Martians are adversaries of the solar system because their main duty is to secure the alien structure that intends to destroy the world. The Martians are highly trained soldiers with modern weaponry. The authorities on Earth know that the Martians are the most dangerous army.
The Martians know how to use the latest technology to trap enemies. When Holden’s crew tries to invade outer space, the Martians lay a signal trap to prevent it from accessing the alien structure. Holden and his crew fall victims for the Martians because their spaceship is shot down.
Jim Holden
Holden is a top scientist, and he is the one in charge of the United Nation's mission to secure the Earth from aliens' attack. When the UN detects a possible attack from aliens, it sends Holden with his crew to outer space to study the alien structure. The UN knows that the only way it can destroy the alien structure is by using science because it will likely be defeated if it uses force. Therefore, Holden leads his fellow scientists using the Canterbury spaceship to outer space to accomplish their mission.
Joe Miller
Joe Miller is an experienced security expert working in the Asteroid belt. Miller's primary role is to investigate several cases involving missing persons. In addition, Miller is a detective who works for private individuals and institutions to accomplish assigned tasks. When Magnate learns there might be a possible attack on the Asteroid belt, he hires Miller to find her daughter and take her to safety on Earth's moon.
Julie Mao
Juliet Mao is the daughter of Magnate. Julie is an independent woman who chooses what she believes is right for her life. When Julie learns that her father is scheming to return her to the Earth's moon, she disobeys his command and instead joins a terrorist group.
Magnate
Magnate is the father of Julie, and a powerful individual in the Asteroid belt. Magnate is a concerned and responsible father who always wants to ensure his family is safe. When Magnate hears a rumor about a possible attack on the Asteroid belt, he recruits Miller to take her daughter to safety.
